Seven injured after out-of-control yellow cab smashes into pedestrians in New York City on Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, a yellow taxi hopped a sidewalk and collided with pedestrians in New York City, injuring seven people.
Just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the Christmas commotion broke out in the center of Herald Square at the intersection of Avenue of Americas and West 34th Street.
Before crashing into pedestrians outside a Macy’s department store, the cab driver reportedly experienced a potential medical episode.
During the holidays, the business attracts both local New Yorkers and tourists with its ornate display windows.
The U.S. Sun was informed by the New York City Police Department that officers were on their way to the scene of “multiple injuries.”
Police and sources say seven people were hurt, including a nine-year-old boy.

In the confusion, four additional women, ages 19, 37, and 41, as well as two women, ages 49, were hurt.
According to police, three people were transported to hospitals: a 41-year-old lady who was injured in her head, a 49-year-old woman who had a knee injury, and a nine-year-old boy who was cut.
Police said the other three pedestrians refused medical assistance.
Police also stated that none of the injuries were life-threatening.
The taxi had multiple dents on its side and its front bumper was totally torn out, according to pictures the media was able to secure.
The health of the cab driver was not disclosed, however the NYPD said that all six victims were in stable condition.
Additionally, the driver has not been identified, and no one has been charged or arrested by the authorities as of yet.
Although the crash scene is still being investigated by police, it seems to have been an accident.
There was a significant fire department presence at the area, according to footage circulated online.
Located in the center of Midtown, Herald Square is a bustling retail area.

Moses was also informed by an eyewitness that even after the cab stopped, its wheels continued to spin.
The car’s hood was up and there were visible damage marks.
