Shedeur Sanders makes Shrine Bowl appearance decision with fans concerned over NFL Draft 2025 pick position
Concerns have been raised by FANS regarding Shedeur Sanders’ choice to skip the Shrine Bowl.
In the 2025 NFL Draft, the standout quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes is anticipated to be selected among the top picks.
At the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, and the East-West Shrine Bowl in Dallas, hundreds of NFL draft candidates have vowed to show off their skills this week.
The son of Deion Sanders, Shedeur, who may be the first choice in the April draft, is perhaps the most noteworthy player who will not be playing despite this week’s training.
Sanders will not play in Thursday night’s game at AT&T Stadium, but he did make an appearance at the Shrine Bowl.
Additionally, the 22-year-old decided not to practice this week.

Shedeur Sanders refuses to be touched by anyone from Colorado Buffaloes
Sanders’ choice alarmed supporters, who thought it may affect his draft prospects.
One person questioned, “I wonder why he’s not participating?”
“That’s a poor attitude by Sanders,” someone another commented.
A third asked, “Does this hurt his draft stock?”
The reasons behind Sanders’ refusal to play have been the subject of several reports.
The Shrine Bowl’s director of football operations and player personnel, Eric Galko, is unconcerned about the commotion, though.
“We don t pressure guys to play if they don t feel comfortable, if they don t feel healthy, or for whatever reason it may be,” he told Front Office Sports.
“It looks fantastic, and we want the lads to practice. However, we won’t put any pressure on men.
Sanders revealed that he is unsure if he will throw at the NFL Scouting Combine in February in Indianapolis.
The date of Colorado’s pro day, which is probably going to be in March, has not yet been announced.
The Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants—the teams with the first three picks in the NFL Draft—reportedly urged Sanders not to practice, according to Yahoo Sports, which is one of the theories behind his absence from the field this week.
Galko disputes that hypothesis as well as others, claiming that he was informed that Sanders was considering not playing in the Shrine Bowl approximately a week before to the start of training.
When he informed FOS, “There was no deal made,”
“It would have been fantastic if he had practiced,” Galko continued. However, this does not imply that it was all predestined because he did not practice.
“We continue to support Shedeur, and that was a novel development.
“I think I understand why he made his decision, and we re still happy he s here.”
