“Shock And Grief!” Witnesses Recall Hit-And-Run Crash That Ended Woman’s Life In Golden Glades

MIAMI – As Abel St-Surin and his cousin Oliver set up their t-shirt stand on Sunday morning, they noticed a woman lying dead in the street. It is a scene they will never forget.

“It’s not something I wanna remember,” Abel replied.

Oliver remarked, “That was shocking to my mind.” “I had to take a little bit of time to process.”

The woman was struck by a car traveling south on NE 6th Avenue in Golden Glades, according to Miami-Dade police, while she was crossing NE 149th Street.

The cousins observed as first responders attempted to assist her.

The deceased woman would frequently visit the area when she would sell her hats and other things, according to a woman who did not want her name to be mentioned in this report. She claimed not to know the woman’s name.

The deceased woman’s name has not been made public by the police. The cousins are optimistic that the driver will be apprehended.
