Shocking moment raging sports star goes into crowd and PUNCHES fan in face as league investigates
A professional lacrosse player and two supporters who were allegedly the targets of a terrible attack did not share goodwill toward all men around Christmas.
The National Lacrosse League is looking into Halifax Thunderbirds player Tyson Bell after he was spotted seemingly punching one fan and hitting another with his lacrosse stick.
It happened after the Thunderbirds’ December 21 loss against Colorado Mammoth in Denver, which ended in a score of 19–14.
Bell was enraged by the taunts from the fans as he returned to the tunnel after the loss.
Bell responded strongly to the verbal insults and hand gestures aimed at the three players, but they were able to avoid answering the heckling.
The 30-year-old then turned to face the supporters who were positioned at the wall dividing them from the crowd as he made his way to the tunnel.
Additionally, he seemed to PUNCH a supporter.
Once they had pulled the barrier aside, Bell struck a second fan over the head with his stick.
The long stick midfielder was eventually escorted away by teammates, other spectators, and security.
The next day, the NLL issued a statement.
