Shoppers warned of strict deadlines for Christmas gift returns & how to avoid physical receipt checks to get money back
Shoppers should be aware of the rapidly approaching deadlines if they wish to return unwanted items this Christmas.
Amazon, Walmart, Target, and many other well-known brands have stringent return policies that dictate when things must be returned for a refund or store credit.
Whether the clothing doesn’t fit properly or you may already have the item, returns are unavoidable after December 25.
For instance, according to the National Retail Federation, return rates increase by an additional 17% during the holiday season when compared to the year average.
However, there is good news for customers because a lot of well-known firms are extending their deadlines to make room for more people.
Because many of them vary amongst major brands, shoppers are advised to check the cut-off date for each retailer.
