The backstory

In order to assist a family member with health concerns, Guardian’s proprietors had to make the painful decision to close and move out of Michigan. The proprietors claim that the location is in Bloomington, Indiana, where the relative can get the medical facilities they require.

With intentions to someday establish a new brewery in Indiana, Guardian shuttered its doors in March 2024. Together with its logo, the new brewery’s name, Towaki Brewing Co., was revealed this week.

Next steps:

Beer, hard cider, wine, cocktails, and other alcoholic options will all be available at Towaki.

In addition to pet-friendly patio seating, the brewery is anticipated to have board games, arcade games, and outdoor games. Additionally, Towaki intends to carry on with the beer courses that Guardian provided.

The aim is to open in the fall, however the precise address has not yet been disclosed.
