DEBARYLIFE – Authorities in the Los Angeles area of Lincoln Heights said on Thursday that they are looking for more victims of a robbery crew.

A news release from the Los Angeles Police Department states that on April 9, two victims were tricked into an apartment in the 2900 block of North Main Street by a lady they had connected with on social media.

After breaking out of hiding, two male suspects approached the victims and demanded property at gunpoint. Authorities stated that they believe a suspect pistol-whipped one of the victims.

According to police, “it was discovered during the investigation that the suspects had used this same scheme to entrap other robbery victims in the past.”
