At the age of 72, a music producer who collaborated with A-list celebrities and composed songs for SpongeBob Squarepants passed away.
After a fight with cancer, veteran composer Andy Paley passed away.
He collaborated with well-known artists like Madonna and Elton John during the course of his multi-decade music career.
Variety received confirmation of his passing from his representative.
In addition to working with Jerry Lee Lewis and Brian Wilson, who co-founded The Beach Boys, Paley was a producer at Sire Records.
In addition, the producer composed music for cartoon shows like The Ren & Stimpy Show and SpongeBob Squarepants.
