The event has eager fans waiting in long lines to get the highly coveted collectible cup, although many aren’t pleased with the long wait times.

“No notice that mobile orders are taking 30 minutes plus. No ability to cancel the order on the app. No ability for the store to cancel. Pretty disappointing…”

Another Starbucks fan shared an image of her reusable cup and sent out a word of warning to those planning to hit up the chain.

“Red Cup Day! Huge lines in there y’all,” she wrote.

Others poked fun at the notoriously long lines during the seasonal event.

“We (Starbucks baristas) are standing on the front lines of battle (Red Cup Day),” joked a Starbucks employee.

Fans who indulge in a drink from Starbucks’s selection of hot, iced, and blended handcrafted holiday beverages will receive a free limited-edition 16-ounce cup.

The promotion is going on November 14 at participating stores while supplies last.

The reusable cup is available for in-store, drive-thru, and mobile orders.

Fans who bring the cup into a Starbucks location will receive 10 cents off their beverage.
