Steph Curry screams down camera after more heroics and lip-readers are adamant it was message to Klay Thompson

STEPH Curry secured a dominant win over his former teammate on Monday night.

Klay Thompson played against the Golden State Warriors for the first time since signing with the Dallas Mavericks.

Thompson returned to thundering applause, but Steph Curry wouldn’t allow his former teammate to have all the glory of the night.

Thompson dropped 22 points in his return to Golden State, and looked like he had a shot at taking home a win in the opening NBA Cup game.

However, Curry dropped an impressive 37 points to counter his former teammate, including all of the Warriors’ final 12 points.

Among those final points was a game-sealing three-pointer that got him extremely fired up.

With the Warriors leading 115-114 with 28 seconds left in the game, Curry pulled up and drained a deep three to give them 118 points.

The shot gave the Warriors a lead that the Mavericks would be unable to overcome.

Curry hit his signature celebration and sprinted to a camera to scream to TV viewers.

It was hard to make out what he said, but fans did their best to read his lips and try to decipher the message.

“WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE,” one fan said.

“THIS MY S*** HERE! YOU AIN’T WANNA STAY HERE! AHHH!” another fan said.

“YOU BETTER STAY HERE!!!” a third fan said.

“I thought he said ‘who built this s*** here,'” a fourth fan said.

“‘You in my s*** now’ or ‘You in my s*** here,'” a fifth fan said.

Regardless of what he said, it was a spectacular display by Curry and Thompson shared how it felt to be on the other side of his former teammate’s outburst.

“It hurts to be on the other side of one of his flurries,” Thompson said.

What the new TV deal means for the NBA?

By The U.S. Sun’s Assistant Sports Editor Damian Burchardt.

THE new TV rights deal is promising to be a humongous win for NBA players.

The league is set to more than double the revenue coming from its media partners, pocketing about $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap spike in 2025-26.

That is going to send the value of player contracts skyrocketing.

Projected figures suggest we might see the first $100 million-per-year deal being signed soon.

Currently, Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum is projected to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, collecting $71.5 million in 2029-30.

If TNT Sports successfully matches one of the offers to maintain its decades-long partnership with the league, hoops fans will be on the winning side too.

The network’s flagship, Inside the NBA, is a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment show, as evidenced by ESPN’s ongoing failure to come up with its own version of the program in recent years.

The NBA wouldn’t be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck’s never-ending bickering every Tuesday night.

“Guy got hot at the end and made some ridiculous shots. Now that I’ve been on the other end, it sucks.

“But I think we play them three more times so hopefully we can learn from it and learn their tendencies a little better.

“But it sucks because this wasn’t a big game for the cubs so it’s something we just gotta digest and move forward.”
