Stephen A. Smith forced to clarify Josh Allen remarks after being challenged on stance by confused First Take star

To a confused First Take colleague, Stephen A. Smith had to share his thoughts on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Kimberley A. Martin attacked the 57-year-old Smith on Wednesday’s episode of the ESPN program.

Stephen A. revealed his ranking of the NFL’s top five clubs during a segment.

His top rankings included the Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Martin, meanwhile, was upset that Smith omitted the 10-3 Bills.

“We talk about Josh Allen being a ‘bad man’ now all of a sudden the Bills are thrown out?” Alongside host Molly Qerim and analyst Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, she posed the question to Stephen A.

Martin mentioned that Smith had previously referred to Allen as a “bad man” during her tirade.

The feisty individual argued his opinion that the Bills should not be on his list.

“It is fluid. According to Stephen A., “just because they aren’t in the top 5 this week doesn’t mean they won’t be in the top 5 next week or the week after.”

“At this particular moment in time, who is deserving?”

In Week 13, the Bills suffered a crushing road loss to the Los Angeles Rams, 44–42.

“Just because Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills lost to the Rams and got knocked out of my top five for this week, doesn’t mean they can’t get back on the list next week,” Smith stated.

It was clear that Martin disagreed with what her colleague had said.

Despite scoring 42 points in their most recent defeat, the Bills remain among the top Super Bowl candidates.

Allen, who scored three touchdowns in the loss, is the front-runner for the MVP award.

However, after giving up 457 total yards against the Rams, the Bills’ defense needs to improve.

The belief that the Steelers should be ranked higher than the Bills is debatable, even though Stephen A.’s top four teams are reasonable.

Smith is also a well-known Steelers supporter.

When the Bills play the 12-1 Lions, they will have a difficult assignment ahead of them.
