Stephen A. Smith sends clear message to Dak Prescott over Mike McCarthy comments with Dallas Cowboys coach facing axe
On First Take, Stephen A. Smith is still tearing into the Dallas Cowboys.
Stephen A. is using every opportunity to ridicule the Cowboys, who are having a horrible season.
Dak Prescott, the quarterback for the Cowboys, recently came out in favor of his head coach, Mike McCarthy.
It appears that McCarthy’s players disagree with the general consensus that he will be fired this offseason.
“I have complete faith in him,” Prescott said to Yahoo Sports.
It goes without saying that I don’t want to dive into the specifics, but I do believe he deserves a chance.

Stephen A. quickly expressed his disagreement with Prescott’s opinion on First Take.
When he said, “I will tell you what I feel,”
“What Dak Prescott said about that doesn’t really matter to me.
“How about you go out there and help him win? There wouldn’t be any conversation.
For nine years, you have been the Dallas Cowboys’ starting quarterback. To show for it, you won two postseason games.
“You have the ability to go out there and shut everybody up.”
Prescott is now unable to silence his detractors, including Stephen A., as he is sidelined for the season due to an injury.
Although Prescott hasn’t done much to help the Cowboys return to their Super Bowl-winning ways, Stephen A. isn’t entirely incorrect.
Last season was one of the few statistically outstanding seasons that Prescott has played in his career.
He only had nine interceptions while passing for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns.
