Stephen A. Smith shrieks hysterically after Shannon Sharpe First Take surprise as Molly Qerim says ‘no one told me’
When he introduced the most recent episode of First Take, Stephen A. Smith was in peak physical condition.
After a busy weekend, the show returned yesterday with a lot to talk about.
Molly Qerim and Dan Orlovsky joined Smith for the show.
The 57-year-old abruptly disclosed that another First Take favorite would be making an unexpected debut.
“The weekend is over!” Smith started. “I hope you ate a lot of food and had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
“And prepare yourself for the First Take! I have both my boyfriend, D.O., and my girlfriend, Molly, in the house.”

Reaching a level of hysteria, he added, “But guess what y’all – with all the big time games going on, with all the big time stuff to discuss, look who showed up!”
As Smith completed his introduction and gleefully grabbed his colleague’s arm, the camera captured Shannon Sharpe grinning.
“He’s here! He’s here. Smith went on.
“And I’m on one, I’m on one!” Sharpe interrupted.
After shaking hands, Smith danced as Sharpe walked to his seat and remarked, “First Take’s in the house.”
Qerim revealed something about the appearance of Hall of Famer Sharpe from her position.
“Listen, no one told me we were going to have an HOFer in the building,” she admitted.
Thanksgiving last week was the first time it was broadcast as usual.
Despite this, the show underwent a few minor adjustments.
Damien Woody and Kimberley A. Martin joined host Qerim in the studio in New York.
‘THAT’S DESSERT’
However, Smith completed the panel by joining the broadcast through a video link.
The set had been given a festive makeover, with a turkey feast on the side.
The main table in front of Qerim and Co was full of chocolates, which Smith objected to.
“I appreciate the chocolate – but that’s dessert,” Smith said. “That don’t come before the actual meat and potatoes, the turkey, the yams, the stuffing – that comes later.

“I just want to let everybody know that, we’re not getting it twisted on this show.”
Qerim then pointed out that the main course had been shown just seconds earlier, with Smith conceding, “my bad”.
