Super Bowl 59 stadium unrecognizable under snow blizzard as temperatures drop 40F in terrifying weather system
The unprecedented snowstorm has made the upcoming Super Bowl location appear inconspicuous.
Next month, the New Orleans Saints’ home stadium, Caesars Superdome, will host Super Bowl 59.
On Tuesday, about a foot of snow fell on parts of Louisiana, including the New Orleans region, as well as other southern states.
Businesses and schools were forced to close for the day due to the blizzard.
The Caesars Superdome was covered in snow, and the blizzard has made it look completely different.
Additionally, the Super Bowl 59 signage outside the building was covered with snow.

Due to wind gusts of 25 to 50 miles per hour and temperatures that remained in the 30s, the storm made both air and road travel hazardous.
Consequently, all flights leaving New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport were canceled on Wednesday.
The New Orleans Pelicans’ home game against the Milwaukee Bucks was postponed, the NBA also confirmed.
A date for the rescheduled game at Smoothie King Center will be revealed later, according to the league.
The Pelicans will play the Memphis Grizzlies on the road on Friday, while the Bucks will visit the Miami Heat on Thursday.
The blizzard hit numerous places, including New Orleans.
The 1,500-mile storm made landfall in regions of Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
For Louisiana, the storm hit record-breaking heights.
A blizzard struck Acadiana, LakeCharles, and other cities for the first time.
Thankfully, the Super Bowl shouldn’t be impacted by the current weather.
On Sunday, February 9, the Superdome will host the big game.
It will be the first Super Bowl at the location since 2013 and the sixth overall.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills in the AFCC championship this Sunday, making just four teams remaining in the playoffs this season.
