Las Vegas, Nevada – On Thursday, the courts heard the case of two men who are suspected of killing during an armed robbery.

After luring the victim and his pals away from a check-cashing establishment, three men—two of whom were teenagers—killed one of the men, according to the prosecution.

Clark County District Court arraigned Daniel Meza-Ortega, 19, and Ervin Ortega-Rodriguez, 21.

An allegation of robbery plot. Robbery using a dangerous weapon is counted three times. Judge Carli Kierny read a number of accusations, including one count of murder with the use of a dangerous weapon, in court on Thursday.

They both entered not-guilty pleas to the sixteen criminal charges they face.

Mario Javier Mex-Redondo was another individual who was shot but survived. He revealed his injuries before a grand jury.

The next scheduled court date is May 23 for both Ervin Ortega-Rodriguez and Daniel Meza-Ortega.
