Target apologizes after ‘rude’ worker ‘refused to help’ with missing order – and shopper questions paying for membership
Target has apologized to a furious customer who questioned the worth of store membership after receiving subpar treatment.
The client blasted the chain’s delivery service on social media, asking, “What’s going on?”
She tweeted, “I pay for @Target SAME DAY DELIVERY SUBSCRIPTION,” on X.
“On Wednesday, I ordered a SAME DAY DELIVERY. I still haven’t received my stuff after two days.
All day, I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone. When I finally got someone, the agent was impolite and wouldn’t assist me. What’s happening?
The customer did not elaborate on the rudeness of the employee, but Target promptly addressed her grievance.

The chain said, “We’re sorry to hear you still haven’t received your same-day delivery order,” and promised to investigate the matter for her.
In order to follow up on the matter, Target advised the customer to privately message them with the order details.
Neither Target nor the X user have provided any additional information to the public on the delivery or if she continues to pay for the subscription.
Same-day delivery is available to customers who have a Target Circle 360 membership.
Members who pay a monthly charge of $10.99 or an annual cost of $99 receive unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35.
Alternatively, customers can purchase individual orders for $9.99 at checkout and receive same-day delivery.
However, the X customer was not the only one who felt defrauded by the subscription; other customers also expressed dissatisfaction over not receiving the service they paid for.
“I have to say I’m VERY disappointed in the way @Target has managed my order,” a different person commented.
“I have Target Circle 360, and the order was placed on Saturday afternoon. It was for more than $350!
“How come UPS didn’t even see the package till Tuesday night? My next visit won’t be until Friday afternoon.
Target’s customer service page responded with an apology and additional details.
