TARGET has faced criticism after a consumer claimed that the store had defrauded them of needless bag fees on many occasions.

The irate customer questioned the chain on social media, and the company promptly replied that it will look into the matter.

According to her, the store has also “been giving me my groceries without bags when I’ve been paying for them.”

The $1 bag price was listed as “regional fees” on the digital receipt, but the chain once more promised to investigate the matter.

A third customer asked the company, “@Target why are you stealing?”

Bag fees are only $0.05 per bag, not $0.50, and you’re imposing the necessary fee on a large package item that very obviously doesn’t fit in a bag.
