Taylor Swift skips another Kansas City Chiefs game and misses Travis Kelce breaking another record by passing NFL legend

Travis Kelce’s record-breaking performance for the Kansas City Chiefs was missed by Taylor Swift’s fiancé.

On Sunday at the Arrowhead, Kelce, 35, assisted the Chiefs in defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 19–17.

And the tight end did it in style, becoming the fastest NFL receiver to surpass 12,000 career receiving yards in 172 games with his game-ending catch.

In doing so, the NFL player defeated Tony Gonzalez, a Kansas City legend who accomplished the same milestone in 210 games.

Gonzalez’s previous record against the same opposition is the second one Kelly beats.

Earlier this season, in his team’s victory over the Chargers in September, the three-time Super Bowl champion set a new standard for catches by surpassing Gonzalez’s 916 with 917.

However, Swift, 34, was not present for the most recent accomplishment because she was in Vancouver for her last stop on her own record-breaking Eras Tour.

All six of the Chiefs’ previous home games this season were attended by the music icon.

When the Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday, the 14-time Grammy winner was at Arrowhead for the last time.

Along with Kelce’s mother, Donna, and her father, Scott, the pop star attended the game.

Swift’s tour schedule has prevented her from attending any of the Chiefs’ away games this season.
