Teen Allegedly Murders Father, DISPOSES BODY in RIVER; Police Continue Search

Police in Indiana are still looking for the body of a missing HVAC technician, who was believed to have been tossed into an Indianapolis river after reportedly being slain by his 17-year-old son.

On June 1, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) arrested David Perry, 17, for allegedly murdering his father, Brandon Perry, 35.

Court documents obtained by Fox News Digital indicate that David murdered his father and disposed of his remains in a huge trash container in the White River.

According to police, Brandon’s body has yet to be found.

On May 29, IMPD Missing Persons detectives began their investigation into Brandon Perry’s disappearance. He was apparently last seen on May 26.

According to court filings, Perry’s sister discovered a “large amount of blood” on the bottom of his mattress after searching his home and filing a missing person complaint with police.

According to the records, detectives discovered blood on the basement steps, as well as a makeshift burn pile in the home’s side yard. Perry’s license, as well as damaged credit cards and a business card, were recovered by police from the burn pile.

Investigators then discovered that a revolver purchased by Perry and handed to his son, David, as well as a huge, blue Republic curbside garbage can, had gone stolen. According to court filings, a substantial amount of rubbish was found on the ground beside the trash can.

Police also uncovered that on May 26, the day Perry was allegedly gone, David went to Walmart and bought a red dolly, a dust buster, a tiny fan, seat coverings, a candle, a belt, and a small gun safe. According to court filings, the gun safe was found in David’s car, along with the gun.

Based on video surveillance, physical evidence, and many interviews, detectives believe Perry was murdered by his son.

According to court filings, David allegedly told his aunt that he put the garbage can “about an hour south” and that the container’s lid “was shut and wouldn’t open.” Police discovered text conversations in which David stated that he would be departing at the end of the month following an argument with his father.

Police then reportedly spoke with the person David was messaging, who informed them that he said he couldn’t go back home but wouldn’t explain why.

David was charged with murder and dangerous possession of a firearm on June 5, according to authorities.

A jury trial is scheduled for August, but prosecutors expect it to be moved.
