DEBARYLIFE – A national park’s rock formation was pushed over by a group of men who were captured on camera. Park rangers are requesting assistance from the public to locate them.
Due to the video’s depiction of federally protected land being destroyed at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area west of Las Vegas, there is widespread outrage.

This is similar to what happened in Utah in 2013 when two scoutmasters knocked down a 200 million-year-old rock formation. They completed a year of probation and were fined $2,000.
The Duckbill rock formation in Oregon was destroyed in 2016, and the act was captured on camera. No one has ever apprehended the vandals.
The individuals who knocked over the boulder in Nevada can be fined $5,000 and imprisoned for six months if they are discovered.
