FOX 2: YPSILANTI, Mich. Two of three suspects were charged on Friday with the murders of two adults, the injury of a third, and the kidnapping of two small girls from a Northfield Township residence. However, one of the suspects’ outbursts about the victim’s “deserved to die” were interspersed throughout.
Keith Finley, 60, Gregory Callhan, 37, and Shuvonne Vinson, 42, were all charged with assault, kidnapping, and murder, among other offenses.
The Washtenaw County Jail is housing the three suspects, all of whom are from Detroit.
What happened in court on Friday?
Callhan and Vinson both used Zoom to attend the arraignment. Vinson was arraigned first after a delay.
Prosecuting attorney Amy Reiser requested that Vinson be detained without bond after the charges were read, arguing that there was no justification for her being released.
“She murdered a mother in front of her daughter,” Reiser stated.
That caused Vinson to lose his temper.
“No I did not,” Vinson informed him.
Vinson sat and listened as Reiser persisted in demanding no bond, claiming that the three defendants killed the two in front of children, after her lawyer had calmed her down.
“One of the most horrific crimes that I ve seen in my career,” she stated.
According to Reiser, Vinson attempted to seize the officer’s weapon and threatened to kill the officers as police were pursuing the suspects following the killings.
For the double murder that occurred in Northfield Township on New Year’s Day, two defendants were arraigned. Shuvonne Vinson, one of the two accused, went on an expletive-filled tirade in court on Friday.
Vinson remarked, “I don’t care about no bond,” “My children were f***ed by those motherf******. F*** you and them.”
Even after her lawyer begged her to stop, Vinson persisted.
“My babies were f***ed with. Vinson responded, “Don’t lie and say I f***ing had my child around a death.” “I kept both of those kids from seeing s***. B****, stop lying. They deserved to die, those motherf******. They had an affair with my children. F*** them all.
Then Vinson got up and resisted being allowed to leave the arraignment chamber.
She continued to use profanity while she waited before stating something regarding the victims.
Vinson declared, “I’m not the one that needs to be in jail,” “My motherf***** child b**** was attacked by them. And anyone else will follow suit.
Vinson’s camera was muted by the judge, and she was taken out of the room and ordered to be held without bond.

Following Vinson, Callhan was arraigned on numerous of the same allegations.
Reiser requested that he be held without bond during the arraignment, and he remained largely silent until she revealed that they had taken the children from the house.
Callhan said, “I didn’t take anyone out of there,” before his lawyer ordered him to stop talking.
He was detained without bond as well.
Keith Finley, the third defendant, was not arraigned on Friday. He will be arraigned on Saturday after refusing to be arraigned.
