Three arrested after Washtenaw County double murder, child abduction on New Year’s Day

(FOX 2) Northfield Township, MichiganPolice are looking into a kidnapping of a child that resulted in the arrest of three individuals.
When police arrived at a residence on Nollar Bend Road on Wednesday night after receiving allegations of a shooting, the horrific New Year’s Day bloodshed occurred in Northfield Township.
There, they discovered a third victim who was still alive but suffering from gunshot wounds, and two others who had been shot dead.
A manhunt began around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday after police discovered that two children had been kidnapped during the event.
Three people were detained and taken into custody with the assistance of Michigan State Police, the sheriff’s office, and Ann Arbor law enforcement. The office of the Washtenaw County Prosecutor is presently reviewing the charges.
Since then, the two kidnapped children have recovered and are undergoing evaluation at the nearby hospital.
In addition, the surviving victim was brought to the hospital for urgent medical attention. They are in critical condition right now.
The inquiry is still ongoing, and the victim’s identities will be made public after the family is informed.
