Three hostages released by gun-toting Hamas thugs including Yarden Bibas as fears grow for his sons, 2 & 5, and wife
As concerns for the young Bibas brothers increase, gun-wielding Hamas militants have freed three hostages.
After being held captive by the terrorist organization for 484 days, their father, 34-year-old Yadden Bibas, was finally released this morning.
On Saturday morning, he and 53-year-old Ofer Kalderon were turned over to the Red Cross in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Hamas also released American-Israeli Keith Samuel Siegel, 65, as part of the shaky truce agreement with Israel.
In the other half of the ceasefire deal, about 183 Palestinian detainees in Israel are being released.
However, Yarden’s wife Shiri and their two-year-old kids Kfir and five-year-old Ariel are becoming increasingly concerned.
During Hamas’ October 7 massacre, the youngsters and their parents were abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz.
Kfir was brutally abducted when he was just nine months old.
In a video, the children and their mother were last seen alive as gunmen marched through Gaza.
Ofri Bibas-Levy, Kfir Bibas’ aunt, told NBC News earlier this week: Sometimes I just want to scream because it’s so difficult to not know.
Even if it’s the worst thing, just let me know.
Israel’s military stated it was unable to confirm the claim made by Hamas in November that Shiri and her sons had been murdered in an Israeli airstrike.
According to reports, their father, Yarden, was taken away from them and detained somewhere else.
Hamas fighters displayed the three Israeli hostages on stage prior to their release on Saturday.
During the brutal event, the courageous hostages waved while surrounded by troops brandishing weapons and wearing green headbands.
Hamas attempted to project strength as dozens of terror members with rifles and rocket launchers positioned at the temporary stages.
Over the course of the 16-month conflict, the IDF has severely damaged the terror group, but it has managed to survive.
Red Cross vans subsequently retrieved the hostages, who are currently being transported to Israel.
The IDF is extremely concerned and frightened about the situation of the Bibas children and their mother, Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated earlier this month.
In January, Baby Kfir turned two while in prison.
Posters showing the red-haired child holding his pink elephant have become a distressing representation of the hostage situation throughout Israel.
Kalderon, 54, and his two kids, Erez, 12, and Sahar, 16, were kidnapped from Nir Oz.
In November, his children were freed, but he was still in Hamas control.
American-Israeli Siegel and his wife, Aviva, were captured from their home in Kfar Aza.
During an earlier ceasefire, Aviva was set free.
In exchange for 400 Palestinian prisoners and detainees, 17 of the 33 hostages that were supposed to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire have now been freed.

Hamas freed seven prisoners on Thursday, including 20-year-old Agam Berger, 29-year-old Arbel Yehud, and 80-year-old Gadi Mozes.
As part of the ceasefire agreement with Israel, they were the third set of hostages to be freed from the terror captivity of Hamas.
