Times Square Subway Attack Leaves 70-Year-Old Man With Fractured Eye Bone, Recent Report Says
TIMES SQUARE, NEW YORK – After a brutal attack on a Times Square subway platform that left a 70-year-old man with a fractured eye bone, the NYPD is looking for a suspect.
The suspect wanted in the attack at the Times Square–42nd Street station early on Saturday morning was profiled by police on Thursday.
According to authorities, the victim was struck in the head with a bag while on the southbound 2/3 platform at 9:50 a.m. by another individual.
The blow’s ferocity knocked the sufferer down, hitting his head on the ground.

After being taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue by emergency medical services due to an orbital fracture, he was listed as stable.
It’s unclear whether the incident was unprovoked or whether the victim and his attacker had a conversation before it.
According to authorities, the man escaped aboard a 2 train traveling south.
