Top NBA on TNT star stolen by NBC as lead analyst for new TV coverage in major blow

One of the most well-known NBA analysts from TNT NBA has been taken over by NBC.

For the upcoming season, the basketball star will serve as the primary analyst for the renowned network.

That’s none other than Reggie Miller, a legend of the Indiana Pacers.

After earning honors for his 18-year basketball career in 2005, Miller, now 59, transitioned into punditry.

Front Office Sports reports that the former shooting guard will face a fresh task at NBC.

This upcoming season, Miller and Jamal Crawford will alternate as the network’s main analysts.

The pair will collaborate with either lead vocalist Mike Tirico or Noah Eagle.

Last season, Miller and Crawford collaborated while watching the NBA playoffs on TNT.

Both NBC and Amazon are trying to hire more people for their new NBA packages at the same time.

Next season is anticipated to see the debut of the new punditry teams.

In the 1990s and 2000s, Miller was a very successful player.

The Pacers were where the California native played his whole career.

He became a five-time NBA All-Star there.
