Tragic Loss: Tribute to 34-Year-Old Killed in Dirt Bike Accident
DEBARYLIFE – A Pittsfield man, 34, was killed in a crash on Saturday while riding his dirt bike. He is known for his laugh and “happy blue eyes.”
The dirt bike was struck by a Honda Ridgeline driven by a 53-year-old Pittsfield man about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday near 664 West Housatonic St., according to Wester Mass News.
According to WWLP, Pittsfield resident John Tyska, who was operating the dirt bike, perished in the collision.

According to the obituary, “He was loved beyond belief by his family and friends.”
The 34-year-old’s obituary stated that he took great pride in his profession as a skilled artisan.
It says, “We will miss his happy blue eyes laughing.”
The Onota Lake Pavilion will host an outdoor celebration of life on Friday from 12 to 3 p.m. in his honor.
