Travis Kelce buys $2.3k wine from 1989 and $1k birthday cake for lavish $43k Italian-themed dinner for Taylor Swift
For Taylor Swift’s 35th birthday, Travis Kelce prepared yet another spectacular surprise.
The Kansas City Chiefs hero lavished $175,000 on opulent presents for his superstar singer girlfriend, according to an exclusive report by the U.S. Sun.
Thirty-five bouquets of roses and some beautiful jewelry were presented to Taylor.
Travis didn’t stop there, though.
ITALIAN INFLUENCE
With the assistance of an event planner who attended to all of their needs, the two-time Super Bowl champion arranged a romantic supper with an Italian theme, according to a reliable source.
The couple’s love of all things Italian has been extensively covered by the U.S. Sun, and Travis gave Taylor’s special day another taste of la dolce vita.

According to the insider, two chefs from New York were flown to Kansas City and prepared a feast that cost a hefty $30,000.
Fine wines, caviar, and white alba truffles were consumed at a “Italian-inspired table.”
“Travis wanted to create a special birthday dinner for Taylor that would remind them of their great times in Italy and their love for the country,” according to a source.
From the flowers to the plates used, every aspect was scrutinized, creating a “Italian ambiance” that, in the words of the insider, “put a sweet touch to all of it.”
Truffles and other really expensive treats might contribute to a taste experience, but they are obviously not inexpensive. Travis had to spend $3,600 on one bag.
He also spent a lot of money on expensive wines. One bottle of Cristal Rose cost $2,950, while two bottles of the best red, the 2000 Chateau Margaux 2000, cost $2,100.
THOUGHTFUL TRAVIS
In addition to a $2,498 bottle of Dom Perignon, a 1990 Tenuta San Guido with “notes of dried blackcurrant, tobacco, and cumin spice.” was purchased for $1,669 per bottle.
Travis, who has always been a considerate boyfriend, also produced a $2,370 Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido in 1989, the year Taylor was born.
“The wines were fantastic,” the insider affirmed.
The Tsar Imperial Beluga Hybrid Caviar was no exception.
The “King of Caviar,” weighing 125g, costs $1,256.
For dessert, a $1,000 birthday cake with fine Swiss and French chocolates customized by a private pastry chef was served.
“Everything contributed to a fantastic night, and they had a super time together wine tasting, being themselves and celebrating Taylor s birthday,” said the reliable insider.
Since their trip there last year, Taylor and Travis have developed a deep affection for Italy.
The U.S. Sun revealed that the pair are looking to buy a classy love nest in Lake Como and that the NFL star has been treated to a day at the iconic Monza F1 track once the season ends.

We also revealed how Travis’ growing Italian ties have led him to start going by the moniker Italian Stallion.
“Everything was made to be a fantastic night, and they had a super time together doing a wine tasting and enjoying just being themselves and celebrating Taylor s birthday,” said the source. “Travis loves to make her smile, and he was delighted to share a unique memory together.”
