Travis Kelce makes Grammy attendance decision with Taylor Swift as Super Bowl preparations continue
According to sources, Travis Kelce has decided whether or not to attend the Grammy Awards.
On February 9, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will play the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
It was revealed on Thursday that Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, would be presenting an award at the renowned Grammy Awards ceremony.
The 35-year-old won’t be going to the event, though.
Kelce has decided to put his Super Bowl preparation ahead of his Grammy appearance, according to TMZ.
Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena will host the 67th annual Grammy Awards.

However, Kelce is located about 1,600 miles (2,000 km) away in Kansas City, where he practices.
This is not the first time Kelce has had to miss out on the coveted event, which honors accomplishments in the music industry and frequently coincides with the Super Bowl.
Last year, when the Chiefs got ready to play the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas, he was a conspicuous absence.
The Chiefs’ back-to-back Super Bowl victories last season demonstrated that Kelce’s choice was the right one.
And as the Chiefs look to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls, he will be hopeful that his choice is once again confirmed this season.
Following the Chiefs’ triumph over the Buffalo Bills to win the AFCC championship on Sunday night, Kelce and Swift, who began dating in late summer 2023, shared a kiss on the field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift is anticipated to attend the Super Bowl the following week.
Many people have speculated that this might be Kelce’s final game.
Although Kelce has already acknowledged that his opinions on retiring “change every single day,” he also claims that he hasn’t given the choice much thought before the Super Bowl.
He went on to say: “I enjoy everything I do in this place, but ultimately, I’m not as successful on the field as I have been on my own.
“I’ll reevaluate it like I always do, and I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing and I’ll come backnextyear.”
Swift has finished her record-breaking Eras Tour and is nominated for the Grammys’ top honor, Album of the Year.
She has won it four times before in 2010 (Fearless), 2016 (1989), 2021 (Folklore), and 2024 (Midnights), and she hopes to break her own record by winning it a fifth time.
