On Black Friday, Kelce was thinking back on the team’s victory over the Las Vegas Raiderson, 19–17.
“They were able to eliminate the big plays we have, and on top of that keep us out of the end zone,” Kelce stated.
“I’m really proud of that, and it was the biggest thing for me.
“My hunger increases as I approach the finish line.
And for some reason, I’m not on the same page as Pat and I’m having trouble finding the end zone this year.
“It can get f***ing frustrating, that’s for damn sure.”
Kelce still has 675 receiving yards this season in spite of his problems.
The Chiefs’ close victory on Friday guaranteed them a postseason berth as well.
With an 11-1 record, Kansas City is still on track to win the Super Bowl for an unprecedented third consecutive year.
Mahomes and his team have fought to several thrilling, one-score victories.
“It is what it is, you just have to live with it,” stated Kelce.
