Trump to jet in to devastated LA TODAY in first trip since taking office while new Hughes blaze spreads & 50k evacuated
As fresh fires rage across the city, Donald Trump is anticipated to visit the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles today.
Despite warning signs and widespread evacuation orders due to the severe fire conditions, President Trump will travel for the first time since taking office on Monday.
The most catastrophic Palisades disaster is still causing havoc weeks after it initially surfaced, and there are still a number of fires burning throughout California.
Firefighters are rushing to suppress the flames in a new fire that has begun north of Los Angeles.
It initially raised concerns on Wednesday and was dubbed the Hughes fire.
It has burnt over 10,000 acres as of Thursday night, and just 36% of it has been contained.

As severe weather warnings went into place, the fire compelled 50,000 people to evacuate.
Parts of Interstate 5 were briefly closed, and businesses and schools were closed as well.
Thus far, the Hughes fire has primarily destroyed brush, with no recorded fatalities or damaged buildings.
Four thousand firefighters have been attempting to contain the Hughes fire, according to the chief of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
In neighboring Ventura County, 94 acres were burned by another fire.
On Thursday, courageous firefighters managed to extinguish a fire close to the Bel Air neighborhood, which is home to many celebrities.
The recent fire outbreak coincides with Trump’s scheduled visit to the devastated region.
He is anticipated to travel to areas that have been devastated by fires that destroyed entire neighborhoods earlier this month and claimed the lives of at least 28 people.
The White House has not yet disclosed any precise information or schedule for his visit.
However, since Trump is anticipated to visit North Carolina earlier in the day, it is most likely to happen in the afternoon.
Regarding how state and local officials have handled the situation, Trump has been extremely critical of them.
Governor Gavin Newsom of California stated that he would meet Trump at the airport upon his arrival in Los Angeles.
