Two-time Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner who has earned $14m in career left unemployed in brutal roster cut
This week, a former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner was cruelly let go.
Following a series of errors in their most recent game, the Cleveland Browns took the unexpected decision.
With the Chiefs, 25-year-old Kadarius Toney won two Super Bowls.
However, following his mistakes against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, he was cut by the Cleveland Browns.
In 2021, the New York Giants selected Toney in the first round of the draft.
Due to his unsatisfactory stint in New York, he was dealt to the Chiefs in October 2022.

In the Super Bowl victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the receiver caught a touchdown pass.
Additionally, he accomplished the longest punt return in Super Bowl history, measuring 65 yards.
After tearing his meniscus in camp, Toney had a year marred with injuries in 2023.
After suffering injuries that kept him out of weeks 16, 17, and 18, he skipped postseason games for “personal reasons.”
On Instagram, Toney asserted that he was unharmed.
He did not play in the Super Bowl victory over the 49ers.
And after he declined the fifth year of his contract, the Chiefs cut him this summer.
The Cleveland Browns selected Toney in September and added him to their practice squad.
In particular, he was added to the active roster for the Week 14 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, he had a taunting penalty during the game after misfiring on a punt.
Cleveland’s AFC North rivals defeated them 27–14.
Following the game, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski assured reporters that Toney’s violation will be “addressed.”
And in the end, Toney lost his place on the Browns roster.
Greg Newsome II, a cornerback, was also added to the Browns’ injured reserve list.
