US woman, 20, faces 10 years in jail for ‘accidentally stabbing man to death after he groped her at train station’
After reportedly fatally killing a guy at a train station when he grabbed her, an American lady faces up to ten years in prison.
The attacker allegedly grabbed the 20-year-old’s behind earlier this year while she was standing on an escalator at a station in Germany.
The woman allegedly pulled out a folding knife and made stabbing motions toward him after turning around to face him.
She is charged with stabbing the 64-year-old Eritrean man in the heart during the ensuing altercation.
He passed away in a matter of seconds.
Dominik Ludwig, the deputy chief prosecutor, said in a statement that an examination revealed the guy died from a knife wound to the heart.

Police searched for the woman after she left the site.
Later on, she turned herself in to a local police facility.
The woman, who resides in Kaiserslautern, in the Rhineland-Palatinate state in southwest Germany, is accused of causing death by bodily harm.
She might spend up to ten years in prison in a juvenile court if proven guilty.
German and American officials claim that although the woman is an American citizen, she was born in Germany.
She is not connected to the US military, which, as a result of the Cold War, still maintains some 40 bases in Germany.
The unnamed American said she was defending herself after being attacked on June 29 of this year.
As she attempted to extricate herself, the man reportedly grabbed her arm with the knife, and she stabbed him in the chest “during the same movement.”
The woman says she was attempting to keep the man, who has not been identified either, at a distance, according to the prosecution.
According to reports, security footage of the stabbing indicates that the victim was not intended to be killed.
Prosecutors have therefore charged her with bodily harm instead than murder or manslaughter.
AMERICAN WOMAN STABBED GROPER ABROAD
At a train station in Kaiserslautern, Germany, a 20-year-old American lady is accused of fatally stabbing a guy after he molested her. Dr. Udo Gehring, Chief Public Prosecutor of Kaiserslautern, issued the following statement:
“The Kaiserslautern public prosecutor’s office has filed charges following the conclusion of the investigation into the incident that occurred in Kaiserslautern Central Station on the afternoon of June 29, 2024, where a 20-year-old woman fatally stabbed a 64-year-old man.
“The 20-year-old is charged with bodily harm resulting in death by the Kaiserslautern public prosecutor’s office.
“The investigation’s findings indicate that the stabbing occurred after the 64-year-old sexually harassed the 20-year-old by grabbing her buttocks, [which] resulted in a verbal altercation. The 20-year-old then opened a folding knife she was carrying and made stabbing motions toward the 64-year-old, who then retreated and the 20-year-old followed him.
The 20-year-old was using her arm to handle the knife when the 64-year-old snatched it.
“In the same motion, the 20-year-old stabbed herself once after releasing herself from this hold.
“The man passed away in a matter of seconds after she struck his heart.
“The 20-year-old has spoken up about the issue.
She specifically said she didn’t aim for the heart.
“This is in agreement with the office of the public prosecutor.
“Intent regarding the bodily injury and (sole) negligence regarding the death are required for the allegation of bodily harm resulting in death.
The 20-year-old also asserts that she acted to protect herself and keep the man at bay.
“The charges were brought before the youth chamber of the Kaiserslautern regional court, which must now decide whether to open the main proceedings.”
They continue to contend, however, that she went beyond the bounds of self-defense.
“The public prosecutor’s office does not believe that the stabbing was justified by self-defense,” a prosecutor’s office representative told German tabloid Bild.
The woman has now been released by the police.
The charge against her must be accepted or rejected by a youth court.
