(FOX 2) SOUTHGATE, Mich.This month, the VA is hosting two programs to educate Downriver veterans on their benefits.
Trenton event
On Friday, January 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, VA staff and clinic providers will be present at the Downriver CBOC located at 1640 W. Fort in Trenton.
Veterans can enroll in VA healthcare, visit with clinicians to learn more about them, and obtain benefits information at this event.
Southgate event
On Monday, January 27, from 3-6 p.m., VA personnel and leadership will be visiting VFW Post 9283, located at 16200 Dix Toledo in Southgate. At 6 p.m., there will be a town hall for veterans.
Veterans can learn about benefits and vet programs at this event. Additionally, they will get the chance to question leaders.
Thousands of service men from throughout the nation and the world come to Michigan for two weeks of hands-on battlefield training and cooperation during Northern Strike.
