Victim runs onto I-94 after being shot in chest during robbery at Detroit gas station

Before he was spotted running on I 94 close to Van Dyke, a victim who had been shot during an early Christmas morning robbery at a gas station in Detroit was able to flee by car.

DETROIT (FOX 2):After getting shot during an early Christmas morning heist at a gas station, the victim was able to flee.

Just before three in the morning on Wednesday, two armed suspects were seen approaching the victim’s SUV on video taken from a petrol station at Harper and Van Dyke. The guy was hit in the chest when the men started shooting at him.

Following the shooting, the victim fled the gas station, smashed through the I-94 fence, and drove down onto the interstate before escaping on foot.

A call was made to the police regarding the individual who was going west on I-94. On the approach to the scene, they were also notified of the robbery after receiving a call regarding the victim’s SUV obstructing the freeway’s right lane.

For medical attention, the victim was brought to a hospital.

There is an investigation going on.
