Walmart is giving shoppers two chances to get last-minute gifts delivered that will arrive on-time for Christmas

This year, Walmart has extended home delivery until Christmas Eve as a surprise for last-minute Christmas buyers.

That is two days longer than normal to finish buying presents, which will be a relief to many people this holiday season.

This week, Americans who are pressed for time can now place their orders online until 4 p.m. local time on December 24 and still have their products delivered in time for Christmas.

This translates to delivery from the store in as little as 30 minutes at its fastest.

As an alternative, place your order by 12 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve and pick it up in-store that same day, or have it delivered that same day till 4 p.m.

With over 4,000 sites nationwide, Theretailgiant offers a wide range of options for last-minute delivery and pickup.

Better still, Walmart+ members receive one complimentary expedited delivery until December 31.

According to David Guggina, executive vice president of supply chain operations at Walmart, “We’re making sure customers can rely on Walmart having the items they want, when they want them, no matter when they choose to shop this holiday season.”

Christmas Eve is actually the last opportunity to buy gifts for loved ones because, like many other stores, the business is closing on Christmas Day.

In light of this, Walmart is providing a variety of discounts during its Last Minute Gifts event, including exclusive offers on toys, apparel, cosmetics, and home goods.

The retailer’s Holiday Guarantee allows shoppers to return or exchange the majority of items sold by Walmart and marketplace vendors during the returns window, which ends on January 31.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURES

On Christmas Day, all Walmart locations will be closed for 24 hours, and on Christmas Eve, they will close early.

Shopping hours typically run from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., though they might differ significantly by state and locale.

On the big day, though, the shop will close all of its outlets, allowing its dedicated staff to spend time with their loved ones and enjoy the holidays.

Walmart will open as usual on Christmas Eve at 6 a.m., but all of its sites will close early at 6 p.m.
