Hash browns and do-it-yourself breakfast burgers have been praised for being nearly identical, down to the sauce.

Leah Foodwanderer, a foodie influencer, shared a video reel on Facebook that listed the ingredients for the inexpensive breakfast.

“Great value tips for McDonald’s breakfast,” she says at the beginning of the video.

“The flavor of these pig pattie sausages is identical to that of McDonald’s sausage.

Next, she identifies the brand of English muffins and describes her toasting method.

She continues: “I then cook my sausage pattie in the airfryer and add some plastic cheese.”

“These are similar, especially if you fry them in oil,” Leah commented, sharing a picture of a packet of hashbrowns.

“I swear these are identical to McDonald’s hashbrowns, and these are bigger and crunchy.”

The hot mustard sauce is “so similar” to the McDonald’s version, according to Leah.

She stated: “I would assume it was McDonald’s if someone handed me a bag containing these items.

“The only difference is, I would be like ‘Why is the hashbrown shaped that way’.”

Leah explained the cost of the dupes in the reel description, stating that her version cost $1.16 per serving overall, as opposed to the $5–6 she would normally spend on the meal or $2 for the sandwich and hashbrown.
