Washington Commanders star Jeremy Reaves melts hearts with proposal to fiancee Mikaela Worley on field after big NFL win
Jeremy Reaves, a star with the Washington Commanders, celebrated two significant victories on Sunday night.
In addition to securing the Commanders’ first NFL postseason trip since 2020, the safety’s outstanding suggestion following the overtime victory made him the topic of the game.
After the victory, 28-year-old Reaves pulled 26-year-old Mikaela Worley from the throng and carried her to the end zone.
Reaves then went down on one knee to pop the question in front of millions of people watching at home and thousands inside Northwest Stadium.
In front of yelling friends and family, Worley said yes, and the two then kissed and hugged before vanishing down the tunnel.
Worley was an exceptional volleyball player in high school in Florida, where the couple has been together ever since.

After that, she majored in biology at the University of Louisiana Monroe before graduating from Brenau University with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
Mikaela attends almost all of Reaves’ games and works as a physician assistant in Virginia.
Reaves disclosed that a week before to the proposition and victory, he had given it some thought.

“After suffering an ACL [injury] last year, I was going through the hardest.
“Couldn t do anything, couldn t be my own man and [Mikaela] was the crutch there when I couldn t do it myself.”
