Watch moment bungling arsonist sets his own TROUSERS on fire & has to ditch them as he hot-foots from crime scene
During a botched effort to burn down a restaurant, a suspected arsonist unintentionally set his own pants on fire.
When the inept man’s arson effort failed miserably, he was obliged to flee quickly and take down his pants.
The awkward man and another individual, who is thought to be his accomplice, are seen standing in front of the restaurant in dramatic CCTV footage.
Fuel is observed being removed from what looks to be a jerry can by the suspect.
He then allegedly goes to the Melbourne restaurant’s entryway and sets the place on fire.
Instead, the crook who made a mistake burns himself alive.

Then, as he attempts to flee, he is seen pulling his pants down and removing them.
Before escaping, the second individual can be seen gathering the jerry can and making an effort to assist the person whose clothing is on fire.
According to Victoria Police, emergency personnel were dispatched to the Doncaster East fast food restaurant on December 25 at approximately 2.40 in the morning.
A pair of burned panties and other clothing articles were discovered at the scene, according to a police spokesperson at the time.
They stated: “It appears that the culprit may have set themselves alight, given that singed shoes, pants and jocks were located at the scene.”
They further stated that the two departed the site in a white Toyota Tarago driven by a third party.
The only Victorian who could genuinely want Santa to send underwear on Christmas Day is being sought for by police, they said.
It follows another incompetent arsonist who set himself on fire while attempting to set a barbershop on fire.
At approximately 11.40 p.m. on July 6, footage captures two individuals dressed in black standing outside Gold Blade Barbers in Canberra, Australia.
One of them starts pounding a hole in the glass door of the barbershop big enough for a human to walk through with a hammer.
When the second thug bursts through the busted hole and brings a can inside, the store has already closed for the evening.
The poor thief starts spraying the store with liquid from the can while wearing a motorcycle helmet to hide their identify.
Then, in an effort to extinguish the fire, they hurriedly roll around on the sidewalk outside the store.
