On Monday, investigators were at Pine Tree Acres for around six hours. In their search for the missing Warren woman, they combed through the debris, paying particular attention to a six-acre section of the landfill.
Maurice Morton, Elkins’ uncle, stated, “I know that they’re searching for the body, and so we’re a little nervous about that.” “Hoping that whatever they do find, they find it sooner rather than later.”
What happened to Ashley Elkins

Mother of two Ashley Elkins was last heard from while running errands on January 2. She told her family via SMS that she was leaving a beauty supply store and was on her way back. She hasn’t communicated with anyone in over a week, which is unusual for her.
“She adores her children and family. Alexis Elkins, her sister, stated that she would never simply vanish for this long.
Since she vanished, those family members have harbored suspicions against her ex-boyfriend, De’Andre Booker. Her phone last pinged close to her ex’s Roseville apartment, according to her family.
“Her mother has said numerous times, He threw her out with the trash,” Morton stated. “That’s disheartening.”
Her automobile was discovered by authorities on January 7, a few kilometers from the residence. Her ex’s flat was raided that same evening.

To find out where Elkins might be, police have used digital forensics and canvassed a number of local businesses for video.
As part of the inquiry, police also claimed to have taken a garbage container from the premises.
The car belonging to Ashley Elkins was located in Roseville on Tuesday. Since January 2, the mother of two has gone missing.
Suspect charged in Ashley Elkins case
De’Andre Booker, Elkins’ ex-boyfriend, was arrested last week.
Booker, 32, where he looked up the quickest ways to get to Ohio. He is suspected of plotting to flee the state, and the prosecution stated last week that he also looked into whether blood can be traced, how to pass a polygraph, and what to do while on the run.
De’Andre Booker reportedly ran away to Flint after his ex-girlfriend Ashley Elkins vanished, where he looked for the quickest ways to go to Ohio.
He apparently also searched for information on how to remove his Google search history.
These searches, according to the prosecution, indicate that Booker would run away if he were freed on bond. On Thursday, a $250,000 cash/surety bond was established for him.
Who is De’Andre Booker?
Based on the evidence that was given in court, Booker does not currently have a job.
After going missing in 2017, Booker, who had previously served in the US Army, was discharged with a less than honorable discharge. This occurred after he was accused of a number of crimes while in service the previous year, including larceny and possession of forged identification documents.
Next steps:
Before a preliminary examination on January 29, Booker is scheduled to return to court on January 22 for a probable cause conference.
Police are still looking for Elkins in the interim.
Her family claims that they think she has passed away.
