‘We’re a little nervous’: Ashley Elkins search leads police to Macomb County landfill

In an effort to find Ashley Elkins, a mother who went missing and was last heard from while running errands on January 2, authorities searched a northern Macomb County dump for hours on Monday.

On Monday, investigators were at Pine Tree Acres for around six hours. In their search for the missing Warren woman, they combed through the debris, paying particular attention to a six-acre section of the landfill.

Maurice Morton, Elkins’ uncle, stated, “I know that they’re searching for the body, and so we’re a little nervous about that.” “Hoping that whatever they do find, they find it sooner rather than later.”

Who is De’Andre Booker?

Based on the evidence that was given in court, Booker does not currently have a job.

After going missing in 2017, Booker, who had previously served in the US Army, was discharged with a less than honorable discharge. This occurred after he was accused of a number of crimes while in service the previous year, including larceny and possession of forged identification documents.

Before a preliminary examination on January 29, Booker is scheduled to return to court on January 22 for a probable cause conference.
