Wheel of Fortune fans spot ‘stark’ issue with Ryan Seacrest hosting and say ‘they never noticed it’ with Pat Sajak
Fans have noticed a problem with Ryan Seacrest and are now all expressing the same thing about him after Pat Sajak’s recent comeback to the wheel.
The 49-year-old Ryan Seacrest took over as host of Wheel of Fortune in September after Pat Sajak, 78, retired in June.
Because Pat was such a legend and Ryan had some huge shoes to fill, viewers were eager to criticize Ryan’s hosting style when he took over the show at the beginning of the autumn.
However, people have changed their minds and now adore Ryan hosting the show after he did so for the last two months.
One “issue” that some have seen with Ryan’s hosting, though, is that his height contrasts sharply with the participants.
Pat is 5″10 and Ryan is 5″8, yet fans claim that Pat’s height advantage over the other competitors was less “stark” despite their two-inch gap.

One user said in the Fun section of a Wheel of Fortune-focused subreddit, discussing the hosts’ heights on Reddit: “He could definitely use some heels in this episode.”
“Every single competitor was literally a foot or two taller than him.

This week, Pat returned to the franchise for a Celebrity Wheel of Fortune episode.
When Pat and veteran co-host Vanna White returned to the legendary Wheel of Fortune set on Monday night, fans were overjoyed.
“With some very special visitors, CelebrityWheelOfFortune is returning to celebrate the holidays! Who is going to prevail? Ahead of Monday’s broadcast, the gameshow’s official Instagram account said, “Find out tonight.”
