With the premise that a donation would be made to the charity, publishers Penguin gave the Ingram-Moores’ private firm a 1.4 million advance for Captain Tom’s memoir.

But the organization only received $17,000 in royalties.

According to the report’s conclusion, the public would naturally feel misinformed because the organization has not received any donations.

Mick Neville, the former manager of the Manchester Met, denounced the behavior, calling it “wicked and greedy.”

David Holdsworth, the head of the Charity Commission, said: The shortcomings amount to mismanagement and/or misconduct.

It was also reported that the Ingram-Moores attempted to sell their 2.25 million dollar house in Marston Moretaine, Beds, using Captain Tom’s identity.
