Who is Raoul Pal? The story behind the co-founder and CEO of Real Vision Group

RAOUL Pal was just 36 when he retired after making his millions in the finance trade.

The co-founder and CEO of Real Vision has revealed huge crypto predictions in the wake of Donald Trump’s re-election, but what is the story behind his success?

Who is Raoul Pal?

The former hedge fund manager was born in Burnham and now lives in the Cayman Islands.

His father is of Indian descent, while his mother is Dutch.

He has a degree in economics and law from the University of Plymouth.

He refers to himself as a “business cycle economist, investment strategist, and economic historian.”

Pal, 56, suggested Bitcoin will hit $250,000 but believes that Ethereum could top that under Trump’s administration.

How did Raoul Pal make his money?

Pal started his career as a bond trader at Goldman Sachs in London, where he co-managed the hedge fund sales business across Europe.

He became the manager at GLG Partners (now Man GLG) which was one of Europe’s most successful hedge funds.

Whilst working at GLG, he was trading and investing in macro.

Pal retired at 36 but the break didn’t last long and in 2005 he founded Global Macro Investor (GMI), providing information for large hedge funds.

According to GMI’s website, the company is a “highly original, thought-provoking and completely independent research publication, which maintains a very restricted paid membership to avoid diluting its value to members.”

Nearly a decade later he launched Real Vision in 2014.

He is also writer for The Global Macro Investor, offering advice to elite investors.

Pal co-founded the company with Grant Williams, who is also a financial expert.

The company aims to help people learn more about the world of finance and take control of their own money.

The platform teaches users about crypto, Web 3, investing and macro and promises to “unf*** your future”.
