Why was YesJulz fired by Kanye West?
Kanye West openly severed her relationship with the party influencer and promoter on March 12, 2024, and stated that she owed the Yeezy group more than $7 million.
YesJulz was charged by the therapist of breaking a non-disclosure agreement.
She has previously played a key role in the West brand’s ability to plan exclusive parties and marketing campaigns for his many projects, such as his most recent album Vultures.
Kanye posted on Instagram: “We have made the decision to remove YesJulz from the Vultures rollout.
“All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.”
Although the exact cause of YesJulz’s dismissal is unknown, rumors indicate that the NDA violations were related to an Xspaces session she held and several Kanye fan profiles.
It has been implied that she expressed her ideas for a “Yeezy Universe” and attempted to persuade supporters to collaborate with her for free.
In response to that charge, YesJulz tweeted, “I never wanted work done for free,” in response to her termination.
“I wanted to assist the fans in showing Ye their effort. in order for him to employ them.”
She continued: “Anyone who has ever been in contact with me for as little as 5 minutes knows the last thing I’d ever need to steal, Is an idea.”
She wrote: “F**k an NDA” in reaction to Kanye’s claim that she had violated it.
“Sue me.”
The social media celebrity also addressed Kanye’s assertions that she now owes over $7 million to the Yeezy firm.
She tweeted, in response to a fan’s inquiry over the fine: “I dare Milo or any lawyers at YZY to try.”
Kanye announced his $8 million lawsuit against YesJulz on March 18, 2024.
The singer of Flashing Lights posted a copy of the complaint against the talent manager on Instagram Stories.
“Julianne Goddard has repeatedly, intentionally and grossly violated the terms of her Non-Disclosure Agreement with complainants including publicly disclosing corporate sales figures, social media strategies, text messages with Ye and management, release plans for Vultures album and product designs before release,” it stated.
“To claim that Goddard lacks impulse control would be to absolve her of accountability for actions that are harmful, hateful, and hurtful; it would be to overlook her tendency toward bold, cunning, and manipulative outbursts,” the lawsuit went on.
Goddard readily admits to breaking the NDA and plans to take further action.
