Who killed Natalian Ringo?

On August 29, 2019, Natalian Ringo, the son of Bernice Ringo, was shot and died.

According to Ringo-Wilson, “He was the first homicide in Highland Park in 2019.” “When they took my child they took part of me, a lot of me.”

According to Ringo, her son has family in the region, so it wasn’t a new place to him.

He and his brother were watching TV at home when he received a call from an unidentified caller. His car was discovered in Highland Park, still running, a little time later.

“I just don’t know who gave him that call,” she continued.

At the intersection of Puritan and George Street, he was shot and died in the front seat of his vehicle.

Ringo has been fighting for safer streets as a veteran activist with the Detroit 300. She is currently fighting for justice on behalf of other parents.

“I just want to know who killed my son,” she replied.

Bernice founded the Luke Legacy Institute, a non-profit organization named after Natalian’s nickname, to support the families of victims of gun violence in the five years since his passing.

A monetary reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information that results in an arrest related to Ringo’s murder.
