According to Dr. Marie Schaefer of the Cleveland Clinic, “it’s very important to maintain your activity and exercise during the winter months because you don’t want to lose those benefits of exercise.” It can improve your mood, as well as your heart and lungs, and there is some evidence that it can strengthen your immune system.
“So, it s really important to stay active and exercise even though sometimes your brain is telling you, you don’t want to do this.”
