Woman driving with BAC 4 times legal limit arrested after hitting curbs in Troy

Michigan’s Troy (FOX 2)When a woman from Imlay City was found driving under the influence last month, her blood alcohol content was four times the legal limit.

Just after 12:30 a.m. on December 13, police said a caller reported a Ford F-150 speeding all over the road and colliding with several curbs at Stephenson Highway and E. Maple before pulling into the parking lot of a Belle Tire on Rochester Road.

The 58-year-old driver was requested to complete a number of field sobriety tests by the police when they arrived. She was given a Breathalyzer test because of her low performance.

According to the police, the woman blew.285, which is over three times the legal limit of.08. She took two chemical breathalyzer tests after being arrested and brought to the Troy jail, where her BAC readings were considerably higher—.313 and.342, four times the legal limit.

The woman was accused of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of.17 or above.
