Woman’s car is totalled through no fault of her own but insurance won’t pay her a cent – she even has video evidence

When a woman’s automobile was totaled, her insurance refused to pay out a dime, leaving her to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket.

Michelle Hyman claimed that when she was singled out by criminals, she lost twice as much because of the strains of daily life and the skyrocketing expense of premiums.

After experiencing “some problems in the past year,” Michelle just relocated to Harris County, Texas, in search of a “fresh start.”

She believed that she and her three kids would benefit most from a fresh start.

However, when her automobile vanished overnight from her driveway, she suddenly found herself in trouble once more.

“I stopped for a second because I don’t like to panic,” she told KHOU-11.

“I kind of looked around, and I said, my car is not here, and I ran inside just hysterical really.”

A white SUV pulled up to a neighbor’s car, and some “kids” got out before both cars were driven off, according to the neighbor’s security camera footage.

Michelle claimed to have a suspect in mind, but no arrests were made when the automobile was eventually located in a small hamlet 28 miles away.

However, the fact that the car was totally wrecked when it was discovered made an already dire situation much worse.

Additionally, because of the terms of her insurance coverage, her provider is not making any payments.

As the name implies, you are only covered by such an insurance in the event that you are responsible for damages.

This indicates that Michelle lacked theft insurance, so her provider was exempt from paying for the damage to her car during the theft.

She is currently looking for a replacement at a reasonable price.

Additionally, her neighbor has graciously offered to let her borrow their truck until she has saved up the necessary funds.

However, Michelle continues to feel a great deal of “frustration” about the loss.”

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to get in touch with them as investigators continue to search for the culprits.
