Xbox announces 13 titles leaving Game Pass this month including several big-name games
XBOX has announced the games that will be joining Xbox Game Pass this month as well as those that will be departing.
In December, Xbox Game Pass will see the addition of four new games and the return of five additional games to specific tiers.
However, 13 games will be discontinued in favor of the new ones that will be released this month.
Note that Xbox has listed every game that is departing in December at the same time, so this is more than usual.
It would only be half of this list because Xbox typically only lists the titles that are leaving every two weeks.
Given that businesses typically take a break for the holidays, Xbox might have made all of the information available at once.

Less than two weeks remain to play the games, since the first set is scheduled to depart on December 15.
A few well-known games, such as the highly regarded horror game Amnesia: The Bunker, which debuted last year, will be departing in two weeks.
On December 15, the second game in the survivor trilogy, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the Xbox-only racing game, Forza Horizon 4, will also be released.
The next choose-your-own-your-own-horror adventure game from Supermassive Games In addition, the independent hit Forager and The Quarry will depart in a few weeks.
The following seven titles will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on December 15:
- Amnesia: The Bunker Cloud, console, & PC
- Forager Cloud, console, & PC
- Forza Horizon 4 Cloud, console, & PC
- Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan Cloud, console, & PC
- Rise of the Tomb Raider Cloud, console, & PC
- Tin Hearts Cloud, console, & PC
- The Quarry Cloud, & console
At the end of the month, six more games—including some family-friendly ones—will be removed from Xbox Game Pass.
Party Animals is an Xbox-only party game that resembles Fall Guys in its bizarre dynamics.
You can construct and drive your own Lego race cars in Lego 2K Drive, another family-friendly game that will be removed from Game Pass at the end of the month.
The following six titles will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on December 31:

- Close to the Sun Cloud, console, & PC
- Humankind Cloud, console, & PC
- Lego 2K Drive Cloud, & console
- McPixel 3 Cloud, console, & PC
- Party Animals Cloud, & console
