Xbox has one of its best showcases yet with five 2025 games including a shadow drop
With in-depth analyses of five upcoming Xbox titles, THE Xbox Developer Direct is among the greatest to date.
The one-hour event included two games from third-party creators and three from Xbox Studios, in case you missed it.
To help you catch up on the go, we’ve broken down everything that was unveiled during the showcase.
On the day of release, every game will be accessible through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

It was created in collaboration with Platinum Games and Team Ninja, and it features the fast-paced gameplay of the original series.
It features all of the gore that is characteristic of the series, along with the stylish assaults of Platinum’s Bayonetta.
Late this year, Ninja Gaiden 4 will be released on the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is a completely remade version of the second Ninja Gaiden game in the series.
Although it looks more sleeker and more contemporary, it still retains parts of the classic 2D and 3D gameplay.
The most unexpected aspect of the remake was that it was released right after the show.
PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black are currently available.
South of Midnight
An in-depth analysis of the eagerly anticipated South of Midnight provided us with a clear preview of the gameplay.
Our main character is a weaver who battles supernatural creatures from southern folklore with her magical abilities.
Hazel aims to heal them from their pasts by examining the experiences that made them into monsters.
for April 8, South of Midnight will be available for PC and Xbox.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
A life-threatening mission that people take before they turn 33 is the subject of Expedition 33, a western role-playing game that is based on Japanese classic series like Persona and Final Fantasy.
You must become proficient in both real-time strategy and dazzling turn-based combat if you want to win.
Characters can be constructed in a variety of ways by players, allowing them to play different roles on different teams.
On April 24, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on the Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Doom: The Dark Ages
Combat in Doom: The Dark Ages appears to be far more realistic than in Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, according to an early look at gameplay.
As in the original games, you can strafe between bullets or deflect them with the new chainsaw shield.
