Zayn Malik reunites with One Direction bandmates for 1st time since he left band in 2015 to say farewell to tragic Liam
For the first time since leaving One Direction in 2015, ZAYN Malik has joined the group to attend bandmate Liam Payne’s funeral.
Outside the church where Liam was buried, the group led mourners, accompanied by music mogul Simon Cowell and his fiancée Kate Cassidy.
White roses were placed on the silver-handled black coffin.
A white carriage pulled by two plumed horses had a blue “dad2” and a crimson floral tribute that said “son” on top.
Geoff and Karen, the star’s distraught parents, trailed following in a black Mercedes people carrier.
Following the casket as it was carried inside the church by pallbearers, Liam’s parents were seen consoling one another.
James Cordon, an actor and presenter, accompanied Harry Styles, a member of One Direction.
Arriving in black, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan were dropped off in separate black Mercedes people carriers.
The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes and her husband, JLS star Marvin Humes, were also present.
Scott Mills, host of BBC Radio 2, dressed for the service in a black long coat and dark pants.
Among those who gathered to pay their final respects to Payne were broadcaster Adrian Chiles and former professional football player Robbie Keane.
